Regular courses in Bible, Catechetics, Missiology, Liturgy, Spirituality, Christian marriage and family life, youth apostolate and prayer life for Priests, Sisters, Catechists, youth animators, women leaders and for various sections of the faithful are offered in this Centre. Retreats for different groups, meetings of the various national Commissions, Regional and Diocesan Commissions, Regional and Diocesan pastoral Councils as also youth and children’s camps are conducted at this Centre. An academically and administratively qualified diocesan priest is Director of the Centre. He elicits the cooperation of other qualified persons in the Diocese and elsewhere in organizing the various courses and programmes.
The year 2016-2017 was an important year in the history Gianodaya as this Centre completed 25 years of service to the local Church in Punjab. The Jubilee year was concluded solemnly on 22nd July 2017 by Most Rev. Dr. Franco Mulakkal in the presence of many of the priests and religious.
